Kimolar Foods is a chef and catering company made up of culinary professionals who provide in-home culinary services, trainings and consultations. We are not practicing nutritionists or registered dietitians, although we work closely with them.
We prepare nutrient-dense, wholesome, and honest dishes for our clients. However, we are not licensed to provide nutritional guidance or medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment of any kind. For any health concerns, please contact your physician or health-care professional. It is recommended that you speak to your doctor prior to beginning any new dietary changes.
Consultation
The first step when hiring a chef or cook from Kimolar foods is to choose a date for consultation and process your commitment/consultation fee. Your payment enables us to prioritise your request and have our representatives (chef/cook) available for when you need them.
Office Consultation
Here, we will schedule your meeting with the chef-consultant at our office in Guzape, Abuja on your selected preferred date in the form submitted. Upon submitting the form, a representative will give you a call or chat you up to process your booking and confirm payment of 10,000 (ten thousand naira) for your consultation.
In-Home Consultation
Here, a non-refundable in-home consultation charge of 30.000 (thirty thousand naira) commitment fee of which 50% is all inclusive in the total chef/cook hire fee, is required to have us book at least 2 available representatives for you to make your selection and also schedule a cooking test (optional). On your chosen date of consultation, a representative will be available at your home to consult with you about your choice of cuisine and take note of what to avoid/dislikes of each member of the family. The Kitchen and appliances available (e.g., oven) will be checked as well to help us come up with a suitable menu and access the general work condition of the kitchen.
Virtual consultation
For busy clients or clients in diaspora who are hiring for their family here in Abuja, a virtual consultation will be scheduled and a picture or video of your Kitchen will be required to assess the workspace and equipment available.

Professional/Master Chef
Our Master Chefs are highly advanced culinary experts trained in luxury dining, fine presentation, and premium food experiences. They specialize in Gourmet/Continental & Nigerian cuisine, personalized menu creation, cocktails/pastries and delivering exceptional private dining experiences with creativity and precision.
Family of 1-3
Twice per week
Your chef and assistant come to cook for you 8 days in a month.
3 Times per week
Chef comes to cook for you 12 days in a month.
Full time (6 days per week)
Two chefs run shift to cook for you or your family, or a kitchen assistant is assigned to one chef for 24 days in a month.
Family of 4-6
Twice per week
Chef and assistant come to cook for the family 8 days in a month.
3 Times per week
Your chef and assistant come to cook for the family 12 days in a month.
Full time (6 days per week)
Your chef and assistant come to cook for the family 24 days in a month.
Family of 7-10
Twice per week

Full time (7 days per week)
Two chefs and kitchen assistants are assigned to run shift and cook for the family every day, including Sundays.

- When required, Kitchen Assistant is assigned to the chef to make service efficient at no extra charge

Our Senior Chefs are experienced professionals with strong knowledge of local and continental cuisine. They are skilled in menu planning, food presentation, kitchen management, and delivering quality meals for families.

Duties of Senior Chef
- Personalized service
- Meal planning and menu creation every two months
- When required, and in the absence of a housekeeper for family of 5 and above, Kitchen Assistant/Cleaner is assigned to the chef at an additional cost of N20,000 daily or N100,000 monthly (exclusive to packages without assistant)
- Grocery shopping.
- Meal prep of majorly Continental, Nigerian & Intercontinental foods and only a few snacks / pastries.
- Serving well plated meal at least once in a day
- Preparing breakfast, lunch & dinner
- Wash dishes and cleaning up the kitchen
- Working hours based on your preference and Chef's availability are: 7am-3pm, 9am-5pm, and 10am-6pm.

Junior Chef/Home Cook
Our Junior Chefs are skilled in everyday local meal preparation and kitchen support. They are best suited for simple home-style meals, food prep, and assisting with daily cooking needs while maintaining cleanliness and consistency.

- When required, and in the absence of a housekeeper for family of 5 upwards, Kitchen Assistant/Cleaner is assigned to the chef at an additional cost of NGN20,000 daily or NGN100,000 monthly. (exclusive to packages without assistant).
- Meal prep majorly in local foods and only a few continental dishes
- Preparing breakfast, lunch & dinner
- Wash dishes and cleaning up the kitchen
- Working hours based on your preference for 8hrs and Cooks availability are: 7am-3pm, 9am-5pm, and 10am-6pm.
- Save more with a discounted prepaid long-term/Retainership plan available for each package for the period of 6months-2years. Kindly ask during your scheduled consultation.
Daily Service Rates
Large Catering Package
For a one-time home catering to maximum of 15 to 30 guests. Includes Chef & 2 Kitchen Assistants.
Our one-time daily rates below are charged for meal preparations of 3 varieties or breakfast, lunch &/or dinner for a day. It includes everything grocery shopping (optional), meal prep, cooking, storage and cleaning up the kitchen. Extra charges may occur for catering equipment, utensils or any other added service.
